WHO DO THESE CUTE KIDS BELONG TO?

Over the past week I have edited photos, sent out photos and have received emails from so many grateful parents and grandparents. It has been such a fun week! Although, the kiddos below - Joshua, Ben and Levi as well as the two girls pictured have been daily returned to my inbox. I must have the wrong email addresses! Please send me an email to kristaschei@kristascheiphotography.com to claim your photos! This really sounds like a lost and found ad.

Cute as a Button Event

Saturday was a wonderful day at the Cute as a Button consignment event. I was able to capture a handful more children and compile some images to share with you here. These images are the product of offering FREE photos if you signed up for my e-mail list. It was a wonderful opportunity to get to know parents and children in our community as well as offer a beautiful shot of their child that they'll be able to load onto Facebook or onto their handhelds. These images are watermarked but parents will be able to purchase any of the images taken for a cost. Makena is Cute as a Button.

Cute as a Button invited me to promote my photography at their seasonal consignment sale. My promotional offer was to 'shoot your child for FREE' when you sign up for my mailing list. It was a wonderful time to see people in our community come together to serve each other and meet the growing need to 'pinch pennies'. Cute as a Button will be open tomorrow again from 9a-3p at Silverlake Elementary School in Mill Creek.

And yes, I will be shooting more children.

Blakely Harbor Bainbridge Island - and Ben

This morning my father-in-law and I took Katie and William out to the beach while Benjamin slept at the house. Blakely Harbor is a beautiful place and I was overwhelmed with defeat that I had left my camera on the table back at the house... so upon arriving home and finding Ben awake, I headed back out the harbor with my youngest boy despite the rain that was falling.

The rain cleared just as we walked out into the harbor... it was perfect.
